Serial kisser Emran Hashmi reported to have got infuriated on the stages of Star Plus Chotte Ustad.  While he has giving performance along with the host and the contests of the show, a lady from the viewers gallery came up on the stage and kissed him.  Although everybody in the first instance enjoyed on what was really happening, but the Judge of the show Pritam got enraged and asked the lady who is she really? But there seemed to be no rejoinder on the lady’s expression and she unrelentingly sat on her seat chewing a gum.  Can’t forecast anything, as to whether the scene had taken place routinely or the lady was remunerated to do the action for attainment of TRP for the show.  The episode will be telecasted on Saturday the 1^st March, 2008.

Kazauti Zindaki Ki, Star Plus has finally bid good bye, after running over 7 years, the last episode to be telecast on 28^th February,2008.  The main leading characters, i.e. Anuraj Basu, Prerna and Komilika are dead and Mr Bajaj has gone mad in the love of Prerna.  Prem’s originsl wife Palchim is also dead and he is back with his first love Devki. So with that, the long exaggerated and melodramatic KZK has gone with the wind.

The characters Kumkum and Sumit of  serial Kumkum in Star Plus is also dead and they will appear as another character in the reincarnation later.  So with that the love scenes flanked by Kumkum and Sumit will also be halted.

The host of weekly show Kaho Na Yaar He in Star Plus is changed from Karn Patel to Aditya Narayan. This is likely to improve the TRP of the show as Aditya has much screen presence than the earlier host Karen.

• STAR Plus is all set once again to give its viewers a reason to celebrate. The shows Kumkum Saarthi will be seen in a cross over episode with the entire cast celebrating success together. This 2 hour special episode will be telecast on the 11th of January. The high point in Kumkum will be unfolded where the suspense of Antara’s murderer will be revealed, whereas Zalak Thakkar the main lead protagonist of Saarthi will be getting married to Gurpreet Singh and which will be shot on a lavish scale.

• Sachin Deo is directing the crossover episode and producer Asit Modi of Saarthi is giving personal attention to all aspects to make the episode look grander in every way. There will be exclusive performances by Roshni Chopra, Hussain and Juhi Parmar of Kumkum, Yash Tonk and Pallavi Subash of Karam Apna Apna and Vishal Singh-Kanchi Kaul of Bhabhi.The dance performances have been choreographed by Seemaa Desai and Pappu Khanna.

• But that’s not all… There are much more surprises stored for the day. This will include a stunning performance by the two sisters of Bidaai – Ragini & Sadhna.

• This cross over episode will also be remembered for the fire accident that took place recently, as a result of which the production house had to bear the loss of rich and grandeur costumes getting destroyed. Hats off to Producer Asit Modi who managed to put up the grand set all over again after the tragic accident..
