Pulkit Samrat, who plays Lakshya in the popular soap “Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thiâ€, has accused Ekta kapoor that she had poorly paid and under-utilised and this has bewildered the soap tycoon.
Pulkit has earlier filed a petition in the Bombay High Court against Balaji Telefilms Limited for non-payment and also for a contract that restricted him from working with any other production house for three years. He claims that the case has been won by him.
According to Ektha, “Pulkit seems to have misconstrued what the honorable bench’s verdict. My lawyers know exactly what the court said, and it is not what Pulkit is making it out to be,â€
According to sources in Balajai,Pulkit wanted to give away serials and wanted to work in films. So for that intention, he made some lame excuses on health aspects and hence he could come for 3-4 hours in a day for the shooting. This has disturbed the whole situation as the time table was mismanaged. The whole matter started thereafter. But it is not true that Pulkit has won the case , as the case is still pending in the court. It is understood that he took a break when his track was at its peak in the serial and this has infuriated Balaji camp.
According to reports, Ekta will litigate the newspaper, Mumbai Mirror, for publishing the ambiguous report, which suggested that Pulkit has won the case.

Ekta Kapoor’s is launching her new serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil 3rd March.
The time slot of the serial will be 8:30 p.m prime-time , thus replacing the oldie, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. It is hoped that the show becomes an amazing hit.
The name of the leading lady of the serial is Aditi Gupta. But since Ekta is fond of numerology fixture and is very gullible about it, it is understood that she made a bit change on the lady’s name, she simply added another D in Aditi to make it more powerful.
So wait and watch for another capacious serial from Balaji.

Chak De! India was voted the No. 1 Bollywood film of 2007. BestDesi.com asked a cross section of people in the Indian film industry about their favourite film.
- Last year when Bollywood stars were asked about their favorite film of the year 2006, most of them couldn’t decide between Rang De Basanti and Lage Raho Munnabhai. This year, the Bollywood industry seems to have found universal appeal in the Shah Rukh Khan starred Chak De! India.
- The film had everything: a taut screenplay, a patriotic theme, great direction, brilliant characters and superb performances. It was a combination which worked exceptionally well.
- There were films such as Om Shanti Om
, Bheja Fry, Black Friday, Metro, Gandhi My Father and Jab We Met that came across the stars’ minds, but none of them equaled the universal acceptance that Chak De! India received to take first place.

Balaji Tele Films a.k.a Ekta Kapoor is getting accomplishment in Arab countries through her daily soaps.
“That’s because we’ve decided to make soaps for the Gulf countries. As it is, they watch pirated versions of our Indian soaps, so I decided, why not make serials separately for the Muslim world?” says the thrilled Ekta.Â
Creation of Ekta’s new brain-wave moderately was easy because of her super-popular Gujarati culture-specific soaps like “Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” are easily adaptable into a Muslim vibes.
According to Ekta, “Whether it’s a Gujarati business family or a Muslim business family, the themes are interchangeable. But the characters and their names, clothes and environment are variableâ€. Â
“Think of how popular these Gulf-produced serials would be when my “Kyunkis” and “Kasautis” are so popular in Pakistan and the Gulf countries. “
“It’s a new and bold step for us. I love challenges. What’s life without them”? By making Muslim socials I’ll have the entire Indian, Pakistani and Middle East population watching my soaps. We hope to have 2-3 soaps on air in 2008 from our Gulf office,” said the overconfident Ekta.
