• Anamika Choudhury has been aanounced as the winner of SRGMP little Champ and walked away with the winners’ title and Trophy.

• Anamika Chaudhury, is contestant from Mariani Assam. Rohanpreet is the first runner-up, while Tanmay came third.
• Ajay Devgan and Kajol were the special celebrity guests. The couple also confirmed the International votes where it was Rohanpreet who got the highest. India votes showed Anamika to be leading in almost all the zones
• The Grand Finale was made excessive remarkable with lot of extravaganza and great performances.. Both the Judges Sonu Nigam and Suresh Wadekar gave luminous performances.
• Tele stars Smriti Irani, Rajshree Thakur and Divyanka Tripathy,gave positive performance.
• Aditya Narayan too gave away breathtaking performance.  The three finalists of L’il Champ 2006 welcomed the new L’il Champs of SaReGaMaPa by giving wonderful performances.
• Anamika walks home with a huge amount of Rs. 20 lakhs in cash prize and a Hyundai car.

• Well done Anamika (my favourite always right from the beginning of the show) and both the runners-up, Rohanpreet and Tanmay Chaturvedi!!

Kasuti Zindagi Ki will run on-air for some more time with some other gizza pitta episodes, it is learnt.  Earlier the serial was going off-air by 17^th January.  May be Prerna grandma might have requested Ekta Kapoor that now that her divorce proceedings are filed in the court, she may require lots of money to battle the case, hence the show might be extending.

The grand finale of Jhoom India (Sahara One) will be held on 18^th January,2008 with Varun-Akriti and Sachin-Madhushree.  Both of the jodis Varun and Sachin are awful singers, so henceforth versatile singers like  Sonu Nigham and Abhijeet can sit home sulking ,as actors are  passionate towards singing too.

Amul Star Voice of India, Chotte Ustad, is turning out to be a good show It is a musical reality show which will find out and launch the most excellent young singing talent from the world of music. Adolescents with dreams of stardom will prove their spirit on this platform. To uncover  the real Voice of India, aptitude from diverse corners of the nation will be selected and judged by some of the most honoured names in Indian music industry – extremely talented singers Shreya Goshal and Kunal Ganjawala and music director Pritam and hosted by the talented Voice of India challenger Abhaas.  Young singers like Jayant and Anwesha will be an enormous detonation to Bollywood music.

K for Kishore is a only one of its kind, a music reality show in Sony TV.  It is a programme with 12 contestants, challenging and aiming at being the voice closest to that of Kishore Kumar. The judges for the show are popular music director & singer Bappi Lahiri who knew Kishoreda as a friend and musician, singer Sudesh Bhonsale, who completed all Kishoreda’s incomplete film songs after his death. It is different from most reality shows, here the judges and studio audiences will have the vital say in the contestants’ headway to next round. So far the show did not take off much- until in the last episode lady singers from previous Indian Idol contest sang with the male singers. That gave a boost to the show. Now it is understood that things are not in good twist between the two hosts Babul Supriyo and Rajeshwari.  Rajeshwari, incidentally is the wife of Varun(who is a final contestant for Jhoom India, Sahara One).

Sapna Baabul ka…Bidaai , Star Plus is again turning out to a pretty good serial, which can be watched by the full family unit as it is very clean and the storyline is something similar to film Vivah. As it is extremely dissimilar to other saas bahu stories, audience don’t mind hooking to the small tube for watching it. The serial has   reached an ultimate high as it records a high TRP of 5.4 last week, and has even surpassed the ratings of the ever popular K serial KyunKi Saaa Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.. To add twist to the life of the main central character Ragini , played by Parul Chauhan, she learns to dance and joins a dancing institute run by the new entry Sadia Siddhiqui. Sadia was last seen in Saat Phere and is seen on television after a long break.

• Prachi Desai, probably the youngest and most ideal daughter-in-law of the small screen, has at once altered the finest dancer as well afterwards gaining the ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 2′ trophy. She is fresh twinkle-toes of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

• Prachi and her choreographer Deepak gained the trophy and prize money of Rs.5 Million after a hard competition Saturday the 15^th December, 2007 in Mumbai beating out finalists Sandhya Mridul and Jay Bhanushali, in the grand finale.
• Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the special guests, gave away the trophies.
• Although the three judges gave their votes to Sandhya, the public asserted Prachi, the youngest participant, as the achiever.
• Putting on a red tunica with silver leg covering, she was appearing like an energised school child. All the same, she kept in line her exhilaration although the other people were busy bodied reassuring Sandhya.
• Prachi, seen as the sari-clad bahu of ‘Kkasam Se’, amazed the whole nation with her dancing acquisitions and became the darling of the judges as well.
• Earlier, a twist in the story came when the public voted her out and she was ruled out from the show notwithstanding being the finest performer. Nevertheless, she re-entered with the help of a wild card and she justified it.
• Not only that, Ekta Kapoor, termed as the taskmaster, allowed her just four days’ break from ‘Kkasam Se’ to prop oneself for the ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ finals.
• Eleventh hour spectacular alterations in the verdict are nothing fresh.
• Last year, Shweta Salve was the popular of the judges and viewers and a sure shot achiever. But it was Mona Singh who walked off with the first prize.
• While Mona is still searching her big barge in Bollywood, Prachi has already got it. She has been signed opposite Farhan Akhtar for ‘Rock On’.
• And so as Jhalak Dikhla Jaa crosses the end to its second season, the winning championship goes to the young Balaji actress - Prachi Desai

• Lamenting Parvathi Aggarwal of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki is hooked on to Bollywood soon; you will soon see her in films. In the meanwhile, she will be entering the Virani household for a second time. She will play a major role in helping Tulsi get Mihir out from jail.

• Mona Singh a.k.a plain jane of Jassi Jaisa Koyi Nahi, will be hosting one more reality show soon ,as the Jhlak Dikhla Jaa show is approaching to closing stages.

• Abishek Bachan will be seen in a television reality show after his Bollywood flop shows.

• When media persons approached Shewta Tiwari to discern her response about Kasuti Zindaji Ki going off-air, she reacted”I am yet to get a word on it from Balaji Productions”, poor Shewta, she may be really disconsolate, as KZK had given her lot of reputation and celebrity status!

• After Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh earned the 1st slot in the glorious ‘Nach Baliye 3’ Finale, it’s time to reveal the 2nd Jodi. On Saturday, Dec 15th the remaining 3 jodis: Karan-Amita, Rakhi-Abhishek and Kashmera-Krushna battle it out to snatch the chance to furrow in the finals.

• Both, Karan-Amita and Kashmera-Krushna deliver marvellous performances but, the strength of the competition grows when Rakhi-Abhishek dance like there was no tomorrow. A brilliant dance notion became awfully shocking with Rakhi’s wardrobe malfunction as choli she is wearing opens halfway through the performance exposing her entire back. However, realizing that this dance was her only chance to make it to the finals, she does not stop. She hold on to her choli and completes the dance.

• The symptoms of wardrobe malfunction had occurred previously too in India with models during their ramp walk. Carol Gracious and Najar Khan are a few examples whose tops were dropped during ramp walk. Rumourmongers observed it as a premeditated one as a lot of models do these types of strategy to get excessive media hype.

• Then comes the moment to announce the second finalist. The audience wonder if Rakhi-Abhishek could have taken the cake for their courageous performance or would it be Kashmera-Krushna or the very popular Karan-Amita.

• Dia Mirza puts an end to the anxiety as she clicks a Polaroid picture of the 2nd finalist to put up on our ‘Nach Baliye 3’ Wall of Fame, and reveals Jodi no. 3, Rakhi–Abhishek as the 2nd finalist.

• The present season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ hosted by K Jo has come to an end and to make its splendid culmination more unique, Karan will have Bollywood’s presently hot couple Abhishek and Aishwarya. He has also designed some Koffee awards like Best Rapidfire Contestant, Best Supporting Guest etc. These awards will be judged by Malaika Arora Khan, Cyrus Broacha, Rahul Bose, Rohit Bal and Karan himself to select best of the guests of this season. Soon K Jo will be planning a variety programme too, but first after he finishes his film.

Jay Bhanushali says all the good industry dancers get into my systemFiled Under: Star Plus

Jay Bhanushali, one of the 3 finalist of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is rather disheartened at the want for of viewers support. “When ever I go out, people say that we love your dance and always vote for you. But unfortunately when it comes to elimination round, I always land up in the dock! In fact, once when I was in the safe zone, I complained to the creative team, that please don’t get me out of the groove”, says Jay.

This Guju boy admitted that most of his followers were girls. “But I would even want guys to vote for me”, he laughed. When asked what inspires him to do those great Salsa and Jive moves, he says the fear of going out makes him go berserk on the gala night! “All the good industry dancers get into my system”, says the bubbly actor.

Any hints on what you will be doing for Friday’s final? “A never before avatar, is all I will say at the moment”, was his answer. A little birdie told us that Jay has shaved his entire body for one of the 3 performances for the Finale, where he will put on a woman’s avatar.

• Very few days ahead

With lessening number of days & increasing anxiety level, Amul STAR Voice of India is reaching the zenith where anxiety & ecstasy will successfully intermingle with enchantment & excitement. The final 2 contestants of the season’s biggest singing talent hunt show are now counting days for the finale – ‘the day’ when the entire nation will rock on their seats with their first ‘STAR Voice of India’.

• The final two contenders

VOI has reached its final stage and only two participants, Harshit and Ishmeet are left eminence among thousands of hopefuls and months of arduous auditions and eliminations.

Some viewers might not be satisfied with the finalists, but at the end of the day its the majority vote that counts. And if the masses think Harshit and Ishmeet are justifiable then it doesn’t really matter what the classes say. Now the fascinating curl would be to see who will the Abhaas loyalists vote for - Harshit of Ishmeet?

• Ishmeet, the shy sardar from Punjab:

Ishmeet is not a bad singer, he is simple, nice, responsive boy who felt very hurt by the nasty, racist comments.  Ishmeet has the potential, with training and practice, to make a great singer. I think that if somebody does not have a sweet voice, he can practice and practice and become a great singer… from a technical point of view(which is what the judges are looking at mostly).Well That will never win people’s hearts.  He was in the Chakravat only once (programming glitch!), never got the lowest votes, never got the highest votes either.

• Harshit, simple boy from UP

Harshit Saxena is a inhibited and undemanding boy from Lucknow . There is nothing tremendous forte about his voice. He took his blind grand mother’s support in getting votes. Since there are not much choices, may be, he may win.    Once or twice he forgot his lines during the performance {eh..amnesia!} [guys. this never happened with Ishmeet, that can be classified as a plus point for Ishmeet].

Left to a middle-of-the-road person like me, I am not in favour nor against these contenders.  My all time favourite singer was Sumitra Iyer who has been voted out (courtesy: Alka). Sumitra was a full package, she had voice, poise, personality, composure ,confidence and captivating voice. Alka was never in that girls’ favour. Anyhow past is history and tomorrow is mystery.

It is after all a fame contest too - the ultimate winner of SVOI will have to do playback singing and sell albums. So it doesn’t matter where the votes come from - Punjab, UP, MP or UK or US…..

• Lata Mankeshwar to grace the occasion:

To gear up the excitement Lata Mankeshwar, the singing kokila of India  will mark her presence   on 24^th November 2007 to give the final verdict on the only Amul STAR Voice of India. It is understood that Lataji herself will have the discretion of selecting the Amul VOI as she will be the Chief Guest and Super Judge.
