Shah Rukh Khan (SRK)’s hallucination of owning a bungalow in Palm Island, Dubai has been fulfilled. After living in Mannat (his Bombay house), he is the owner of Jannat in Dubai. When asked him how big is his new dream project, he reciprocated that it is as big as his heart (which is quite big). He has recently been handed over the keys of the bungalow and the interior decoration of the bungalow will be done very shortly by Gauri Khan.
The Palm Island is the Live 8th Wonder of the World. Visualize the worlds largest man-made island in the shape of a palm tree. An unparalleled feat of engineering, architecture and planning. An artificial peninsula, the Palm Island in Dubai was constructed with sand dredged from the bottom of the Persian Gulf. The sand is deposited with the help of a dredging ship which is guided to the right position and monitored by a GPS. This process is known as rain bowing. The outer most edge of the encircling crescent of each Palm Island in Dubai is actually a large rock breakwater which is placed by a crane and is given a GPS coordinate.

Each of the Palm Islands in Dubai are constructed in the shape of a date palm tree including its trunk, crown with fronds and finally surrounded by a crescent island . The islands are well equipped and have residential Villas, Luxury Hotels,Shoreline apartments, theme parks,shopping Malls,Cinemas etc.

Many high profile celebrities are in the waiting list of owning a bungalow in the palm island which includes Brad Pitt-Angelia Jolie, Bill Clinton, M.F. Hussain, Tom Cruise etc. etc. But only SRK is the only lucky man to get hold of the bungalow in the first instance.
