The two-year-old Indian girl Laxmi (please read earlier article written on her in Bestdesi.com) who was born with four arms and four legs has took off her first assisted steps, after three months after long-drawn-out partition surgery.
Lakshmi Tatma has charmed all with her recovery in Jodhpur wherein her family shifted after the operation. She started pushing herself backwards with her legs and burst into laughter with a huge grin on her face while she was put on the baby walker. Laxmi can now sit up without difficulty.
The operation was carried out in Bangalore, which costed approximately 2.4 million rupees was performed free at a private hospital and was the first of its kind to be performed in India.
Now Laxmi is accommodated at the Sucheta Kriplani Shiksha Niketan charity which provides boarding and education to 500 children with disabilities declare that Laxmi will need another two operations.
According to the doctor attending her “Lakshmi is still facing some major urinary problems and her legs are bent to some extent,” . He also diagnosed that the operation was probably to be conceded out in the next two months.
“We are very happy that our brave baby survived such a complex surgery. It feels like beginning a completely new life,” said the proud father of the baby.
This beautiful daughter of actor Sanjay Dutt and Richa is raised in Queens, New York. She lost her mother when she was very young. Her mother succumbed to brain tumour. She lives with her maternal grandparents and aunties.
She is proud to be a part of the Dutt legacy. Her grandfather (the late Sunil Dutt) was a wonderful person and completely doted on Trishala. Sunil Dutt died 2 years back. Her grandmother (Nargis), who was absolutely gorgeous and had such a beautiful smile. Nargis died some 25 years ago due to cancer. Trishala love her movies and watch them all the time.
Trishla says her other aunts (Priya and Namrata) are also huge amusing to be with and she is also very close to her two cousins, Saachi and Siya (Namrata and Kumar Gaurav’s daughters). In India, she is very close to Ranbir and Riddhima Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor’s children) because Ranbir studied in the US and her aunt Enna was his custodian.
Trishala studied in a private school and according to her private school teachers were not actually manner to little kids. So when she was really tortured in such a school her parents immediately switched her to a public school. Trishla that was fantastic and she enjoyed her schooling
In US too she has her limits, she is only allowed to go out once a week with friends when college starts. She also have a 11 p.m. time limit, and occasionally if she ask satisfactorily and if she has been excellent, then her folks make advanced it a bit by half-an-hour.
Trishla determined to get a degree in law from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, because she wanted to support herself with a degree in law, both for dad and for herself. She says even Sanjay Dutt too is happy with her decision.
Trishla’s eventual dream is to become honest lawyer and fight for her father. She says “my mouth would not stop rattling awaiting my aim had been heard, and until I get what I want. I would carry on skirmishing until I hear the reply my ears want to hear. They may say I’m a fighter as well, who is not afraid to say what is accurate. If I feel incredible can be ready, I will not snooze in anticipation unless it is done.â€
On being asked about her fathers’ alleged marriage to Manyata, she said its her dad’s private life and she has nothing to do with it.
And so the fighter lives on….for her dad, for her family and for herself……

Former leading lady Madhuri Dixit is planning a Bollywood comeback, the actress said in a newspaper interview, but she gave no details of her plans.
Dixit told the Times of India newspaper in an interview published Tuesday that she would play a role in a new film to be produced by her business manager, Rikku Rakeshnath.
One of Bollywood’s most sought-after stars in the 1990s, Dixit slowly but surely stopped taking on roles after marrying a U.S.-based Indian surgeon in 1999.
“If I’m going to be away from my family for my film, it better be worthwhile,” said Dixit, 40, who has two young sons, reports AP.
Rakeshnath said he would start work on the film soon. “It was on Madhuri’s insistence that I decided to start my own production house,” he said. “Madhuri will be acting in one of the films I plan to start shortly.”
·       A two-year-old girl who was born with four arms and four legs is undergoing extensive surgery today in Bangalore (India) to remove the extra limbs. The surgery will continue for 40 hours.
·       A team of seventeen different categories of doctors will perform the surgery. This is the first such type of surgery is conducted. It has been conducted only in countries like Singapore etc.
·       It is a big challenge to the doctors of Sparsh Hosital, Banglore as this is the fist time they are conducting an operation of this kind on a lone baby, earlier the precedent is only on twin babies.
·       The girl is joined to a scrounging lookalike who stopped developing in the mother’s womb, while the present foetus wrapped up the limbs, kidneys and other body parts of the embryonic foetus. The rare condition is called isciopagus.
·       The baby’s portion below the appetite is being removed, the main surgeons involved in orthopaedic, the second team in command is neurosurgery, for track of the blood flowing. The operation will be risky, but doctors assume that the age of the baby is the right time for such an operation.
·       The girl, Lakshmi, is named after the four-armed Hindu goddess of wealth and some people in her poor village in the northern state Bihar worship her as a goddess.
·       According to a press report her parents, Shambhu and Poonam, kept her in hiding after a circus apparently tried to buy the girl.
