Astoundingly cricket heroes lagged behind with only Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni figuring in the list of 10 most perceptible celebrities in TV ads.
Hrithik Roshan came at the fourth position in the ad visibility list, while Kajol became the highest rank women at the fifth position. Preity Zinta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Juhi Chawla rounded off the top 10.

The fifth standard questions have by now made all the doctors and professional contestants sweat till date. Kolkatans celebrate this day with Tagore’s songs and poems. Shah Rukh’s performance that day will not be in tune with the mood of Rabindra Jayanti.”

Here is a brief preview of the hypered Tashan.
What happens when you hurl two guys who disgust each other together.
A cool call center executive Jimmy Cliff (Saif Ali Khan), a desi aspirant gangster Bachchan Pande (Akshay Kumar) add for good measure a beautiful girl Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) who can’t live trusted on a journey across extravagant India, a journey which will modify the route of their life in more ways than one, a voyage where even enemy need to reliance each other if they want to be energetic.
The snag is, in this world no one can be trustworthy ever!
And to top it all there is the wickedness eye of Bhaiyyaji aka Anil Kapoor, a nonconformist gangster who enjoys butchering people as much as he enjoys interpolation of English.
Secret revelation:
In the full film Saif and Kareena are in love in full swing, but in the closing stages it is Akshay Kumar who gets take hold of of Kareena! opps…
Prediction
Yash Raj’s all movies are not a hit like Chak De, his Laaga Chunri Me Daag went into melancholy, this movie may be liked by a certain section of masses, but it may not be family movie due to hypered thunderous scenes, as Kareena and Saif’s chemistry is on full scale. On a scale of 10, a rating of 7 may be given.
Madhuri Dixit is to emerge with the Bachchans during the North American leg of The Unforgettable Tour that kicks off at The Rogers Centre in Toronto on July 18, 2008.
“For Madhuri, it’d be the easiest thing in the world for her to join the concerts in the US as she is based there,” revealed a close friend of the Bachchans .
Besides the Bachchans (Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai) other Bollywood faculty that will be a part of the whole expedition includes Bipasha Basu, Ritesh Deshmukh and the duo of Vishal-Shekhar.
Regardless of plunging the tour as a brain child of Amitabh Bachchan, Wizcraft, which is supervising the the tour, is not ready to jeopardy relying on just the Bachchans, Bipasha and Ritesh to drag in the crowds, sentient of their boundaries as live entertainers.
Other Bollywood stars who have been roped in to dapper up the tour contribution at other chosen places include Kareena’s beaus, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan(past and present..lol..)
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena has denied all the rumors about them that they are married and says that it is fallacious that they are living together. Of late they were seen dancing in a bar lounge of a 5 Star Hotel and also indulged in the close ‘dancing’ scenes. While at the outset astonished and stunned, very soon the other clubbers were uplifting them .
1. Kangana Ranaut is shedding her blouse in the upcoming movie’Fashion’. Earlier it was decided that a body double would do the sequence, but later Kangana herself decided to give the shot. In this present film, Kangana is playing the role of a supermodel.

Ganesh Hegde is the choreographer of the dance show.
2. Deepika Podukone has started keeping a distance from her mentor Farah Khan. According to Farah Khan, when success reins someone, often this type of arrogance is inevitable to some people. But deepika should keep in mind that she got overnight stardom because of the film OSO and she should never forget her first tutor and mentor.
3. Akshey Khanna recently purchased a Reva car, because it has zero fuel emission. He wanted to be just eco-friendly.
5. Ashutosh Gowrikar’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ would be facing immense crisis from historians and critics, because according to them, Jodha was Akbar’s daughter in law not wife. Well, in that case the film will be in doldrums even before it release and AG will have to face the music.

Soha Ali Khan will be getting married to Telugu actor Siddhart very soon. Siddhart is a Super sensation after his hit film Bommarilu in Tollywood.
North met south on the sets of Rang De Basanti. Love was seen all over. Though both Soha and Siddhart were very cautious about the whole matter, the cat finally is out of the bag.
Nevertheless, Soha will be his second wife, as Siddhart was married earlier to his childhood sweetheart. They divorced just last year. Also, sources quote that Siddu has two children from his earlier marriage.Â
Soha has to be very alert about this because men seem to divorce their wives once achievement gets to their head. Her brother Saif Ali Khan is no omission.Â
He divorced his first wife Amrita Singh for Italian beauty Rosa and later moved on with Kareena. Soha be careful, lest you get abandoned for another celebrity. Â
Chak De! India was voted the No. 1 Bollywood film of 2007. BestDesi.com asked a cross section of people in the Indian film industry about their favourite film.
Last year when Bollywood stars were asked about their favorite film of the year 2006, most of them couldn’t decide between Rang De Basanti and Lage Raho Munnabhai. This year, the Bollywood industry seems to have found universal appeal in the Shah Rukh Khan starred Chak De! India.
The film had everything: a taut screenplay, a patriotic theme, great direction, brilliant characters and superb performances. It was a combination which worked exceptionally well.
There were films such as Om Shanti Om, Bheja Fry, Black Friday, Metro, Gandhi My Father and Jab We Met that came across the stars’ minds, but none of them equaled the universal acceptance that Chak De! India received to take first place.
The long journey of Saif Ali Khan- from the soiled bud of a nawab family to one of Bollywood’s largely multitalented actors and a serious challenger for the No.1 dot, he has truly emerged successful at the turnstiles. After Saif’s debut in Umesh Mehra’s “Aashiq Awara” a well-known columnist wrote, “Put a dupatta on Saif’s head and he looks like Sharmila Tagore.” But reacting to comments of that sort Saif said recently, “My detractors and their harsh comments have been my greatest incentive to prove myself.” Saif almost always ends every scrutiny cautiously. No wonder it took him so long to appreciate his importance. “But do I really know my worth today?” Yes, Saif has his mother Sharmila Tagore. But moms, as experience tells us, don’t count in Bollywood. If they did, Nutan’s son Mohnish Behl would’ve been the hugest superstar on the block. There’re stories about how insecure he would get on the sets of Karan Johar’s “Kal Ho Naa Ho”. But Saif denies them. saif says, “You know I get paranoid about every movie. I knew from the start that Shah Rukh would be the pivot of the film. But I knew I had great lines and a great role. I was never made to feel Shah Rukh was more important to the project. I went with very clear expectations. It was a civilised unit. Everyone was young and fun. I didn’t feel like an outsider at all. I never did, though I was from outside Mumbai.” Now, the actor seems to be enjoying his newfound status as a leading man to the hilt. “Omkara” was definitely a new beginning. When Vishal Bahradwaj zeroed in on him to play the Indian Iago, Saif was, as usual, unsure. He never says an outright yes to any role, not even when it comes to a film like Farhan Akhtar’s “Dil Chahta Hai”. That film clearly was the turning point in his career. Siddharth Anand, Saif’s good friend, gave Saif’s career as a leading man a extra enhance with “Salaam Namaste”. Siddharth thinks Saif is continuously doing roles that confront him to make his existence felt. Living in the moment he is more peaceful than ever before and hogging the public interest for his suspected issue with Kareena Kapoor. “On the sets of ‘Omkara’ people would say there were four National Award winners. My first impulse would be to wonder who was the fourth after Vishal, Ajay Devgan and Konkona Sen. Then I’d realise, ‘Oh shit, the fourth National Award winner is actually me!’” Saif has the final word. “I may seem like a bundle of contradictions most of the time. But there’s a method to my madness which is apparent only to me a lot of times.”

Kareena thrilled about jump from gloomy to smirk
Critics are rampant about her new film “Jab We Met”, a full-on comedy, but Kareena Kapoor is looking self-assured to another laughton “Phir Golmaal”. “I guess I didn’t have the chance to have fun with my roles before ‘Jab We Met’. That’s why I’m looking forward to ‘Phir Golmaal’. It’s my chance to pull out all stops.” After playing the free-spirited sardarni (Sikh woman) from Bathinda, Punjab, in “Jab We Met”, she’s all set to do a comedy in the “Golmaal - Fun Unlimited” sequel entitled “Phir Golmaal” where she teams up with Ajay Devgan after the very serious Shakespearean tragedy “Omkara” The reaction to her performance in comedy film “Jab We Met” has been unique. “The only other film I’ve felt so good about in recent times is ‘Omkara’. The director Imtiaz Ali has brought out the playful, extroverted side of me. While I was quiet, subdued and withdrawn in ‘Omkara’, in ‘Jab We Met’ I’m in my full elements. This character is really close to my heart. I think from my heart and like to speak my mind openly. And what I liked about this role was the amount of fun we had while travelling and shooting.” “I think that enjoyment during shooting has shown up on screen. Everyone who has seen ‘Jab We Met’ has been appreciative,” says Kareena. *************************
Preity Zinta: gritty by all means
Preity Zinta is one of the heroine in the Bollywood who has played the unwed mom twice, once at the beginning of her career in “Kya Kehna” and then again in the middle of her career.cheeky “Salaam Namaste” and “Jhoom Barabaar Jhoom” are the midriff of her body of work. Is Preity seeing Ness Wadia? Of course she is! And she’s certainly not hiding her love under demure pretences. She loves to be in love. And she doesn’t need to hide it. But there’s just that diminutive bit of aloofness and moderation about her personal life. “It isn’t right for me to let the world know what I’m doing every minute ofthe day. Every human being is entitled to a space where no one comes between me and myself, not even a spouse,” says Preity. Preity impulsively makes all the right choices in life without compromising with her ideology. For five years after Mani Ratnam’s “Dil Seâ€? Preity and Shah Rukh didn’t star together because of a difference of opinion. “My first release ‘Dil Se’ was with him. We didn’t work together thereafter. There was a bit of misapprehension. We weren’t aggressive or anything. We both stood our ground. I think we just let each other be,” Preity told me after she signed “Kal Ho Naa Ho” with Shah Rukh. Actor, campaigner and newspaper columnist (she was writing a column on the film industry for BBC.com), Preity waltzes through all her roles in life artlessly. Whether playing the martyr in “The Hero” or the vamp in “Armaan”, she seems to enjoy every minute of her character’s survival. Repressed (”Kal Ho Naa Ho”) or boisterous (”Salaam Namaste”), here’s an actress who knows her mind and workout it constantly to improve herself. “I love to live for the moment. But I don’t let the moment take over my life. I love a clean city, home and heart, not automatically in that order,” says the bubbly Preity.
