It was not an assail, the witnesses said. The lion’s mouth was not open and Kolanad was not dented. The Bowmanville Zoo had no comment on the incident.

Perhaps the wait will make the heart grow fonder for Ashutosh Gowariker’s
Jodhaa-Akbar
featuring Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan in the eponymous roles. The film has
been so
painstakingly shot that its first cut clocked in at five-and-ahalf-hours. Now
all efforts are
being made to reduced the length to a more endurable three hours.
Meanwhile, many of the film’s supporting actors who gave months on end of their
dates for the
shooting schedules are simmering under their breath. More work, less pay Not
only were they
paid precious little money but had to forego other assignments - all in the hope
of getting
exposure on the Mughal-sized screen.
Yet, there is no denying that sometimes there are unavoidable delays. At
present, director
Gowariker is confined to bed because of a severe back ailment. He has been
advised to rest in
bed for two months, or so goes the trade talk. He is not taking phone calls or
responding to
SMSs.
First, the film produced by Gowariker with UTV was scheduled to be released
during the Diwali
season. It was then shifted to January 15 and then again to February 24.

A bonfire is lit and everyone gathers around it. Snacks, collected from each house, go around the party and are also thrown into the fire.
A trendy belief in this region is that if someone seeks a radish roasted in the bonfire lit by a family that has reason to make merry, then blessings are bestowed on the family of the seeker as well.
Geographically speaking, the earth leans towards the sun along the Tropic of Capricorn (Makara rekha) from the day following Lohri, also known as Winter Solstice. The earth, farthest from the sun at this point of time, starts its journey towards the sun along its elliptical orbit, thus heralding in the onset of spring. It is this transition which is celebrated as Lohri in northern India, Makara sankranti in the central part of the country and as Pongal-Sankranti in South India.
The festival is extended over three days in South India and also signifies the commencement of harvesting. A rath yatra is taken out from the Kandaswamy temple in Chennai on Pongal.
The day is celebrated as Ganga-Sagara in West Bengal and according a belief, Hindus purify their sins by taking bath in the Ganges. A big fair is also held on the Sagara Island, 64 km from the Diamond harbour where the Ganga meets the Bay of Bengal.
Call it Lohri, Pongal or Sankranti, the festival conveys the same message — the bond of brotherhood and the strength of oneness should triumph in spite of all probability.
My favorites will not fit in just five songs but I will try. I love these songs- ‘Chalte Chalte’ from ‘Pakizaah’, ‘Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam’ from ‘Dilwale Dulhaniyan Le Jayenge’, ‘Morni Baga ma’ from ‘Lamhe’ and ‘Sagar kinare’ from ‘Sagar’.
Education: I am a B.Com Graduate from Pune University.
Work Experience: I have modelled for ad campaigns including Close-up, Harry’s Collection, Himani Fast Relief etc. I have appeared in Music videos for Jassi, Daler Mehendi and Remix of Sultan’s Mix. My print campaigns include Sony, Nivea and Globus.
Career Objective / Future Plans: I hope to continue modeling and probably get into movies.
