Her debut film Shhh was a dud at the box-office and all her efforts to gain some credibility were met by poor critical reviews. While she is rarely heard of for her acting skills, her on-off relationship with Uday Chopra has kept her in the public eye for a while now. However, it seems that both the actors have finally decided that their relationship is a done-deal and have let that boat sail.
A friend of the actress let the cat out of the bag and claims that Tanisha has in fact found a “soul mate” in the form of an NRI businessman from London. While little details are known about the mystery man, Tanisha is said to be crazy, madly, deeply in love with the industrialist. So much so that she spent the last month in London with her new beau.
On the other hand, brother-in-law Ajay Devgan proposed to re-launch Tanisha in a home-production but she flatly refused stating that “she is no longer keen to act”. It seems that Tanisha is sitting pretty on cloud nine and hoping that wedding bells for her will ring soon. The same friend also reported that Kajol and her family have told Tanisha to take it easy and get to know the businessman more before progressing further into a possible marriage.
Vidya Balan decides to stick to what’s natural for her

Mumbai, Feb 27 (IANS) The graceful Vidya Balan has turned a new leaf. After her unsuccessful attempts to revamp her wardrobe in 'Heyy Babyy' and 'Kismat Konnection', the actress has decided to go easy on the glamour quotient.
'It's not as though I'm disowning my efforts to do glamorous roles. I'm proud of 'Heyy Babyy' and 'Kismat Konnection'. But this year I'm doing films that don't need me to stretch my personality. I'm very happy doing roles that come naturally to me. That's what I decided about my career this year,' Vidya told IANS.
Vidya has just given the nod to Nikhil Advani's next film 'Chand Bhai', which would surprise many. It is a raw, realistic and song-less film on juvenile delinquency.
'It's nothing like the high-flying glam stuff that one expects from Nikhil after 'Chandni Chowk To China'. 'Chand Bhai' is a stark, very real kind of drama. And I get to co-star with a very talented actor Akshaye Khanna with whom I was in Nikhil's 'Salaam-e-Ishq' though we had just one passing shot together,' she said.
The actress admits 'Chand Bhai' doesn't feature her in the central role.
'The film revolves around a delinquent boy's character. But I'm very happy to be part of a film that addresses itself an important social issue. This year I think I'm done with searching for various bylanes to my screen identity. All my forthcoming films have a sharp sense of social purpose, and that definitely includes Vibhu Puri's 'Chenab Gandhi', which I'm enormously excited about because it's produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.'
Vidya has been attending costume and reading sessions for 'Chenab Gandhi' and is spellbound by the script. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Hurman S. Baweja.
'I haven't really interacted that much with my co-star Hurman as yet. With Mr. Bachchan, who plays the title role, I share a lifelong bonding. Right from 'Eklavya - The Royal Guard', we've been paired in so many films right up to 'Chenab Gandhi' and now Balki's (R Balakrishnan's) 'Pa'.
'If I did all the films last year that I was offered with Mr. Bachchan, I wouldn't be working with anyone else,' said Vidya, adding she's excited to work with Abhishek Bachchan for the first time in 'Pa'.
'We've never been paired together. It would be interesting to have another interesting co-star to work with,' she said.
Vidya recently saw 'Ghajini' and was bowled over by Aamir Khan.
'I'm dying to work with Aamir. And Shah Rukh Khan of course is my favourite. I said on Sajid Khan's chat show I want to kill Shah Rukh's wife. No one took me seriously. There was no enhancement in the security around her. Sad.'

What do Bollywood stars watch on TV?

Well here is list of what starts watch on TV
Raima Sen: I only watch 'Friends' and 'Sex and The City'. Both are hilarious and the characters are easy to relate to. I also liked 'Fear Factor', though I'd never want to participate in it.
Saif Ali Khan: My favourite TV shows are 'Entourage', 'Sherlock Holmes', 'Hercule Poirot', 'Blackadder', 'Prison Break', '24', 'The X Files', 'Murder She Wrote' and 'Who's The Boss'.
Vidya Balan: I used to watch 'Nach Baliye' sometimes. Otherwise no TV show has me really hooked. When I've the time, I watch films. I used to be an avid TV watcher before I joined films. Now I've become very impatient. Since I don't have the time to follow the soaps, I end up watching just the news or music channels. Even the news channels are so tacky sometimes. I enjoy the music talent shows. These shows have given us so much singing talent. However, one aspect of these shows upsets me. People on these shows come just for 15 minutes of fame and not for the love of the arts. Sorry if I sound judgmental, but no one seems to have his or her priorities right on these shows.
Kay Kay Menon: I don't normally watch daily soaps or reality shows. I watch news and sports channels. I also watch National Geographic, Discovery and History channels. Recently, I watched the music talent show 'Junoon Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka' on NDTV Imagine. I loved it for its superior standards and quality of singing.
Dino Morea: I only watch television for sports, or if there's important news. Or if I'm on some show.
R. Madhavan: I watch television for about an hour at the most. And that too depends on my shooting schedule. My favourite TV shows are the ones on National Geographic, 'Untamed Africa', etc. Barring a few, most news channels are tabloids and I find it very hard to digest the content. Reality shows are now formated and predictable.
Manoj Bajpai: I only watch news channels because I want to keep abreast of what's happening in the world.
Naseeruddin Shah: I only watch tennis and cricket on television. Also old movies. I tried watching the Olympics on television and gave up for obvious reasons.
Alisha Chinai speaks her mind
After giving super hits like Kajra re and It's rocking, playback singer Alisha Chinai has spoke her mind.
"Playback singers always get relegated to the sidelines. They continue to be underdogs of the music industry. We really need to be paid. I've been fighting for 10 years," reacted the disheartened Alisha.
"I've always maintained a parallel music career outside the movies. In the movies, they think they're doing me a favour. An average film star gets Rs20 million (Dh2 million), and a playback singer gets Rs20,000 to 25,000 (Dh2,000 to 2,500). Even when a song like Kajra re becomes a runaway hit, I don't benefit. We’re paid the pits."
The invention of music director Bappi Lahiri , Alisha initially sang disco numbers in films like Dance Dance, Commando, Guru and Love Love Love. In 1996, she recorded the hit album Made in India.
Last year she released another non-film album, and one of the tracks, Shut up and kiss me had formed a whisk. But Alisha says: "It was a very audacious and upfront song. I'm glad people saw it with a sense of humor. It was sexy, but not gross. So there were no raised eyebrows."
Few years back, Alisha had formed a disagreement with the song Sexy, sexy for Karisma Kapoor in Khuddar. The words had to be changed to mollify the moralists.
A great believer in astrology Alisha said, "My astrologer had predicted that the end of my bad phase would start with Kajra re. That song resurrected my career, thanks to Aishwarya Rai who looked awesome. To be honest, I enjoy the thought of singing for Aishwarya, Kareena Kapoor and Vidya Balan.
