Worst 5 Shows on Star Plus

Still not learned from previous lessons, Star Plus still sticks on to the Agony aunty serials. It is high time for Star Plus to withdraw itself from long interminable serials to some General Knowledge quiz and more reality programmes.

Few such serials from which Star Plus should detach itself are:

  1. Kis Desh Me Hai Mera Dil:  Kis desh mein Hai Meraa DilBanned in India to the mid day time, it is still in operation in the Middle East in the prime time. High time Ekta Kapoor and Star Plus, enough has been done away with death, re-incarnation and double marriage. Think of some other alternative to bamboozle viewers.
  2. Raja Ki Ayegi Barat: raja-ki-ayegi-barat Again banned in India to the day time slot, it is shown as a mirthful serial in the Middle East. Again the subject of one marriage, culminating into another marriage, still sticking to the earlier wife, Star Plus should end up the serial with immediate effect.
  3. Bidai:Sapna Babul Kaa Bidai Having left with no option, the producer thought he will switch over the only one good person in the serial, chotti ma to a vamp to increase the TRP; I don’t think  it has made any impact on the viewers, it is the dullest serial, showing a beautiful but poor girl living with a madman who does not know the significance of marriage.
  4. Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata He: Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata He The producer and Star Plus only knows Yeh Rishta Kya kahlatha He. The generation-X teenager does not distinctively identify herself with the main lead of the serial, the main lead is shown as too much timorous and nervous, who believes?
  5. Sach Ka Saamna: ssach-ka-samna-0 We hope that it will not re-christen again, as it does not suit the Indian culture, our kids are not being born and brought up in the kind of questions being asked by the host; our children may not have heard of anything so much belligerent about the  things
Never tell a story because it is true: tell it because it is a good story.

Shah Rukh Khan makes Saif Kareena on pins and needles

’KYA AAP Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain’ is building up the impetus, with Shahrukh Khan as the anchor, this show has become a ought to watch for people of all type of age groups. The fifth standard questions have by now made all the doctors and professional contestants sweat till date. Adding to their discomfiture, they have to look in front of the camera and say that they, even after being so educated, are not ’tez’ than a ’panchvi pass’.

The hottest couple to attend the classes would be Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The couple would answer the questions by means of their brainpower, humor and knowledge. It would be attention-grabbing to see how far the couple would go in answering the questions.

The shoot of the special episode is over but it has not yet been finalized when the show would be telecast. Previously Bebo and Saif had appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by SRK, individually. But this time, they would appear jointly to face the headmaster’s questions. As customary, the amount the couple would win will be donated for charitable trust of their choice.

Result Does not matter to me -Anwesha Dattagupta

In a post by SVOI

  • Anwesha Duttagupta, the contestant in Chhote Ustaad from Kolkata has won many hearts through her soulful singing. Even after coming in the scaryland repeatedly, this girl made sure to make it to the finals through her talent. She won the hearts of everyone on the show with her sweet smile and her melodious singing. A very down to earth girl she is sure to create waves in the music industry is what most music lovers feel.
  • How has your journey been through Chhote Ustaad?
  • It has been a great experience. I have learnt a lot apart from the competition. And I enjoyed a lot with all my friends. And most importantly, I got to learn a lot from two very important people Anand Sharma and Anuj Kapoor, who help us train and give us a lot of technical tips.
  • How do you feel reaching the finals?
  • I am quite excited about being in the finals. I am workinhg really hard and we will try and give our best so that the finale is a rocking show.
  • Were you sure of coming this far?
  • I wouldn’t say that I was over-confident of making it big here, at the same time I was sure that I had it in me to move on in the competition. My mother had always told me to take it one step at a time. And that’s what I did, I started out slowly by thinking that I just hope I reach the top 11 first. Doing so, I have finally reached the finals.
  • How are you preparing for the finals?
  • Preparation is going on pretty strong. We are concentrating a lot more on the performance and our singing. Along with the tension of being in the finals, there is also a lot of excitement. We are working very hard to make sure the finale is a good show.
  • Among the three judges, who is ur favorite?
  • All three of them are equally nice. They have all been very caring towards us throughout the competition. They have always made their decisions unanimously and their comments usually don’t vary. All three are the best in their own style and genre.
  • In the usual format of such shows except for the finals, all the ronds are done in the studio. How do you feel going through this changed format? Which format do you feel is better?
  • Well when it is a live performance, we have to practice a lot more than for a recorded performance. There is a lot of stress and tension associated with a live performance. In fact I was present for the grand finale of Star Voice of India and I saw that there were a lot of rehearsals held. I have never thought on the lines of which format is better. Both the formats are good in their own way.
  • Who among you two have the best chance to win?
  • Umm… what can I say about that? Both of us are working very hard and will give our best. Winning or losing is a part of any competition. All I can say is that after coming to this platform, we have received equal adulation and blessings and I don’t think winning or losing really matters, after reaching to this level.
  • Any incident that touched you and you would be taking with you after the show gets over?
  • Yeah I do have a special memory. When the Star Voice of India finale was going on, Lata Mangeshkar had come as the celebrity judge on the show and I was quite excited to meet her. I went up to her and received her blessings too.
  • Future plans after this show?
  • After Chhote Ustaad, I hope to become a successful playback singer. Hopefully as I grow I become a versatile singer, that’s all is what I wish for.
  • Actresses you would love to do playback singing for?
  • I would like to do playback singing for all the actresses.

Today SVOI Chotte Ustad Final!

In continuation of the previous post of Chotte Ustad

There is no second judgment that Anwesha is the unsurpassed candidate for the Chotte Ustad title.  Howsoever, even Star Plus is bountiful by giving more exposure for Aishwariya, the end result has to be that Anwesha of Kolkatta will bag the crown.  Her code number is 9 for the voting lines, which itself is a unambiguous clue that she is the obvious winner, as numerologically 9 is a very powerful number compared to 11 of Aishwsariya.  The precise talent, correct aptitude, flair, endowment and above all, the  right contestant has to win ,and that is Anwesha.

The pre-eminent and the most greatest part I like about Anwesha is that all along with persuasive and credible singing, she possess down to earth intrinsic worth, a quality which is personified in her body language, perhaps she got it genetically from her mother who always keeps a optimistic, buoyant and positive smiling face even when Aishwariya is being praised ;dissimilar to Aishwairya’s mother who makes unconcerned and undaunted facial expressions when Anwesha is praised. What I mean to communicate is that Anwesha’s naive and raw qualities are too personified in her singing capabilities.  I am stressing the point again that Anwesha is the best gifted sweet melodious singer and so please help her win the title.
